Divorce Clarity System · The guided course

Walk into every conversation about your kids knowing what you want, what’s missing, and what to ask.

8 modules · 24 lessons · 156-page binder + 8 worksheets · No plan required · Start from whatever stage you’re in

72 seconds · what this course is, and what it isn’t

Founding price through Oct 31 · Instant access

When you finish, you’ll have

  • Your priorities for your kids, written down in your own words, before anyone in a meeting asks you for them
  • Every gap in your plan marked and turned into a question someone can actually answer
  • A real week walked through your document: the sick Thursday, the late pickup, the $400 expense nobody discussed
  • The parts that keep a plan running, decided on paper: who decides what, how you communicate, how money around the kids moves
  • A review date, so changes come on a calendar instead of in a crisis
  • A four-page clarity summary and three next moves with dates

Wherever you are right now, there’s a route for you

The course opens with eight stage routes. You pick the one that sounds like this week and do that route, not all eight. It tells you what matters now, what can wait, and which lessons to start with.

If you recognized yourself in one of those, the course was built for the conversation you’re about to have.

Most parenting plans are specific about the calendar and vague about everything else. That vagueness is where the friction lives.

Most people expect the hard part to be disagreement. Usually it isn’t. The hard part is the thing neither of you thought to decide. Those gaps sit quietly for a year and then show up on the worst possible day, when you’re negotiating under pressure with a child waiting.

The gaps that hurt aren’t the big ones

Not who has the children. These:

  • Who tells the school
  • What counts as an emergency
  • What happens when a pickup is going to be forty minutes late
  • Whether either of you can make a medical appointment without asking
  • Who pays when a $400 expense shows up that nobody discussed first

And the ones nobody remembers to write down until they need them

  • Who signs the kids up for summer camp, and who pays the deposit
  • How much notice before out-of-state travel, and who holds the passports
  • What happens to the schedule when a child turns 13 and has their own opinions
  • Phones and devices: who buys them, who sets the rules, and what happens when the rules differ between houses
  • Extracurriculars one parent signs up for and both are expected to drive to
  • What you’ll do the first time you disagree, before anyone calls a lawyer

None of these are dramatic. Together, they’re what the next six months of friction is made of. The course walks you through every one of them as a question, so you raise it now, at a kitchen table, instead of later in an email you’d rather not send.

Find them on an ordinary afternoon instead. 24 lessons, a 156-page binder and 8 worksheets.

What attorneys and mediators ask you to bring

Ask anyone who sits across the table from divorcing parents for a living and you’ll hear a version of the same thing: the clients who get the most out of the time they pay for come in knowing their priorities, with their facts in order and their questions written down. The course is built to produce exactly that.

What they ask forWhat you’ll bring
“What matters most to you for the kids?”Your priorities, in your words, on one page
“What does your current plan or draft actually say?”Your plan, read topic by topic and marked addressed, silent, unclear or inconsistent
“How does your week really work?”A 14-day schedule and a one-page parenting-time summary
“Who decides what, today?”A decisions summary: routine, major and emergency
“How do you two communicate?”One channel, a response time, and a record you can find later
“What does it cost to raise them across two houses?”Expense categories, approval rules and a shared-expense ledger
“What do you need from me?”A list of specific questions only they can answer, and three next moves with dates

The course doesn’t tell you what to ask for or what to give up. It makes sure you know what you think before someone else asks.

Run it against a real week

One exercise from the course: take an ordinary Thursday with a sick child, a late pickup and a school form due, and walk it through your document. Then a holiday that lands on someone’s weekend. Then the $400 expense. If the document doesn’t say what happens, that isn’t a reason to panic. It’s a list of questions. And the course shows you how to ask them so they get answered:

“Why does he always change it at the last minute?”

“Does our order say how much notice a schedule change needs?”

The second one gets answered. The first one gets defended.

At the founding price, the course costs less than one hour of a family-law attorney’s time in most of the country. It doesn’t replace that hour. It makes it a better one. You stop paying someone to help you figure out what to ask, so the hours you pay for go to the judgment only they can give.

Who this is for

  • You’re thinking about divorce and want to understand the parenting side before anyone files anything
  • You keep having the same argument about something the plan never actually decided
  • Mediation or a signing is coming and you want to know what the document leaves out
  • You’ve been living with an order for a while and it no longer matches your week
  • You want to walk into your attorney’s office with organized questions instead of a story

What this will not do: tell you whether to divorce; tell you which custody arrangement to choose, what legal position to take, what to ask for or what to give up; tell you whether your agreement is fair, whether a legal standard has been met, or what a judge would do; tell you whether to enforce or modify anything. It is not legal advice, a legal service, or a substitute for an attorney.

Who made this

Shelly, creator of the Divorce Clarity System

Hi, I’m Shelly. I’m a mom of four and a former classroom teacher. Since leaving the classroom, I’ve built learning programs that help people understand hard things quickly.

I’ve been through the family court system as a parent. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, and I learned most of it the slow way. The Divorce Clarity System is the course I wish someone had handed me at the start. It goes step by step, and it’s honest about everything a parenting plan has to cover.

I’m not an attorney, and this isn’t legal advice. It’s education, so you walk into your attorney’s or mediator’s office knowing what to ask.

Which one fits

  • The course fits if you have a plan, a draft, or an arrangement you’re living, or none yet, and you want someone walking you through it.
  • A parenting plan template fits if you need a drafting starting point to bring to your attorney.
  • One Fell Swoop fits if you want every template and guide for every stage, to use on your own.

Questions people ask first

I don’t have a parenting plan yet. Is it too early?

No. You don’t need a plan to start. If nothing is written yet, you’ll be marking what nobody has decided, which is the most useful list to have before a first meeting.

How long does it take?

The Quick Start takes thirty minutes. Your stage route tells you which modules apply, so most people don’t need all 24 lessons at once. Work at your own pace and come back when something changes.

Will my co-parent see what I write?

No. Nothing you complete in the binder is filed, sent to anyone, or seen by the author. What you share, and with whom, is up to you.

Does it matter which state I’m in?

The course is about the practical parts of a parenting plan, not any state’s statutes. Questions about what your state requires go on your question list for an attorney licensed where you live.

Is this legal advice?

No. It’s an educational course created by a parent who navigated the family court system. It helps you organize facts and questions for a licensed attorney or mediator. It doesn’t supply legal answers.

What if safety is part of my situation?

Start there rather than here. Speak with a licensed family law attorney and a domestic violence advocate first. National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233, 24/7.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final. Course access and the binder are delivered right after purchase. If you have trouble logging in or a file won’t open, email [email protected] and we’ll fix your access.

This is an educational publication created by a parent who navigated the family court system, sold by ValuED Sales LLC dba May Divorce Be With You. It organizes the facts and questions for a conversation with a licensed attorney. It does not supply the answers.

⚠ Read before purchase

This is an educational course, not legal advice. The author is not an attorney. Purchase does not create an attorney-client relationship, and no information shared with the seller is protected by attorney-client privilege. Nothing you complete in the binder is filed, sent to anyone, or seen by the author. Questions about what your plan legally requires, or whether to enforce or modify it, belong with an attorney licensed in your state.

If safety is part of your situation right now, start there rather than here. If there is any safety concern for you or a child (physical violence or a threat of it, threats to take or harm the children, a current or recent protective order, or a co-parent who monitors your phone, location, accounts or movements), speak with a licensed family law attorney and a domestic violence advocate before taking any step that puts you back in contact or reveals where you are. Some preparation can increase danger in a relationship that is already dangerous. This course will still be here.

National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233 (text START to 88788), 24/7, free, confidential. In immediate danger: 911, always.

Start where you are

You finish with four pages: what your plan says, where it goes quiet, the questions that get answered, and three next moves.
